In an official statement, the Ministry highlighted its commitment to responding to attacks with effective retaliation.

The successful operation targeted PKK/YPG members who were reportedly preparing to launch an attack in the northern Syrian regions of Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch.

The Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch regions have been under Turkish control since 2016 and 2018, respectively.

The Ministry of Defense did not provide details on the exact circumstances of the incident or the methods used to "neutralize" the individuals. (ILKHA)
