The company's president discussed these plans in a meeting with the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, addressing key initiatives for the year, including the construction of a 6,000-ton oil reserve, the establishment of an oil refinery, repair of two idle wells, and drilling 22 new wells.

The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum highlighted Afg-Chin's current 4,000-ton oil reservoir and their intention to build a new reservoir with a capacity of 6,000 tons in the Qashqari area of Sar-e-Pul Province. Acting Minister Shahabuddin Delawar stressed the importance of transparency in mining processes and advocated for the hiring of local specialists and engineers.

This development aligns with the Islamic Emirate's broader efforts to enhance Afghanistan's self-sufficiency in the oil and gas sector. (ILKHA)
