In Gaza City, israeli warplanes targeted a residence owned by the Salmi family in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, resulting in at least eight confirmed deaths and multiple injuries. Additional individuals are feared trapped beneath the debris.

The Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood in the southwest of the city witnessed a series of israeli airstrikes, while western areas also came under attack, leading to the death and injury of numerous civilians, including children and women.

In Khan Yunis, artillery shelling by israeli forces on a residential property in the Joura Al-Aqad area resulted in one fatality and four wounded individuals admitted to Nasser Medical Hospital. Reports from medical sources also indicated casualties among civilians due to artillery shelling in the Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Yunis.

Israeli artillery targeted various locations in the northern Gaza Strip. Health sources reported 30 unidentified bodies in the morgue at Nasser Medical Complex awaiting burial, and 150 victims were interred in the complex’s courtyard last night due to restricted access imposed by the Israeli military siege.

Since the onset of the Israeli aggression on October 7, the toll on Gaza has been devastating, with 26,257 lives lost, predominantly civilian, and 64,797 individuals sustaining injuries. Nearly 2 million people have been forcibly displaced, seeking refuge in the densely populated southern city of Rafah, marking a significant mass exodus in Palestine since the Nakba of 1948. (ILKHA)
