The factions, including Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), among others, released statements denouncing the "atrocious aggression" by israeli occupation forces against thousands of besieged civilians.
The Palestinian Follow-up Committee for National and Islamic Forces, comprising these major Palestinian parties, issued a joint statement calling on the United Nations and international organizations to hold Israeli occupation forces accountable for the recent war crime. The committee characterized the attack as a "full-fledged war crime," aligning it with the "Nazi occupation's" continued crimes aimed at "ethnically cleansing and committing genocide in the Gaza Strip."
Expressing frustration at international inaction against Israeli war crimes, the committee held the United Nations and all international and regional entities responsible for these actions. They specifically pointed out deliberate delays in humanitarian aid deliveries and complications that hinder Palestinians from accessing their basic human rights.
Furthermore, individual Palestinian factions, including the PIJ, emphasized the necessity for bold stances from concerned international and governmental parties. The PIJ called for opening the Rafah border crossing for humanitarian aid, stressing that the continued crimes demand decisive actions by Arab and Islamic organizations, states, and governments to break the siege, facilitate aid, and open crossings.
