In a distressing incident in Gaza City, three civilians lost their lives when an Israeli military drone targeted a vehicle traveling in at the Yarmouk market. Simultaneously, a residential building in the Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, was struck by an israeli airstrike, causing casualties and injuries, according to medical sources.

The Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City also faced israeli airstrikes, resulting in substantial destruction, though no confirmed reports of casualties have emerged.

Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Al-Manara neighborhood in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern region of the Gaza Strip. Another airstrike in Khan Yunis, specifically in the Al-Amal neighborhood, resulted in the loss of one civilian's life and injuries to others.

Reports indicate that israeli naval forces shelled coastal areas of Deir al-Balah in the middle of the enclave. Additionally, eyewitnesses reported prolonged artillery shelling near Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.

The Israeli occupation forces continued their destruction of residential areas in central and eastern Khan Yunis, leading to further displacement and the loss of homes for an already vulnerable population.

Preliminary estimates indicate that the ongoing israeli offensive in Gaza has claimed approximately 24,927 lives since October 7, with 62,388 individuals injured, the majority being women and children.

The aggression has forced nearly 2 million people into displacement, with the majority concentrated in the densely populated southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt, marking Palestine's largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba. (ILKHA)
