According to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS), 12 individuals from Hebron itself and 11 from the town of Beit Awa, southwest of Hebron, were arrested during a large-scale military operation. Additionally, Israeli forces detained one Palestinian in Dura, southwest of Hebron.
The military incursion involved disruptions in various communities, including the raiding of houses and disturbances to their contents. Flying military checkpoints were reportedly established, and key roads were blocked using iron gates, cement cubes, and earth mounds.
One of the arrestees is Jad Nasr Al-Rimawi, a former detainee who spent eight years in Israeli jails before his release in 2022. Al-Rimawi was apprehended at his workplace in the village of Jeffna.
Furthermore, zionist forces detained a Palestinian from Jalazoun camp north of Ramallah, and a father along with his son were arrested following a raid in the village of Beitin, east of Ramallah. In Shuafat refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem, two Palestinian children were detained after their houses were searched by Israeli forces.
In the northern part of the West Bank, zionist forces targeted the town of Zababdeh, southeast of Jenin, detaining five Palestinians.
The arrests come as part of an intensified israeli military campaign, raising concerns among human rights organizations about the escalating tensions in the region. (ILKHA)
