Organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami party, the massive protest, titled 'Gaza Million March,' saw the participation of men, women, and children.

The marchers, shouting anti-Israel slogans, walked from Karachi Foods on Shahrah-e-Faisal road to the Fauzia Wahab Flyover.

Naeem ur Rehman, JI's Karachi chief, addressed the rally, praising South Africa for attempting to hold israel accountable for genocide in the International Court of Justice.

He expressed admiration for South Africa's initiative and highlighted the concerns of the US and israel in responding to the questions raised by South Africa.

Rehman emphasized that Israel's war on Gaza had led to a humanitarian crisis, gaining support even from the masses in the US, traditionally a staunch ally of Tel Aviv.

Despite the ongoing election campaign for next month's national polls, he affirmed that his party would not forget the plight of the Palestinians and would continue to protest. (ILKHA)
