The movement's spokesperson, Mohammed Abdul Salam, strongly condemned the military aggression against the Yemeni mainland.

"We affirm that there is absolutely no justification for this aggression against Yemen, as there was no threat to international navigation in the Red and Arabian seas, and the targeting was and will continue to affect israeli ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine," stated Abdul Salam in a post on X.

Yemen's Supreme Political Council member, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, echoed the condemnation, framing the Western aggression within the broader regional geopolitical context. Al-Houthi warned of an imminent retaliation against what he described as a "savage aggression."

"The airstrikes [commanded] by America [the US] and Britain once again confirm that they are the ones commanding the aggression against Gaza, just as they command it against Yemen," stated Sayyed Mohammad Ali al-Houthi in a formal statement.

He further expressed concern over the timing of the aggression, asserting, "What America [the US] and Britain have done is a savage and unjustifiable aggression coming at a time when the world is seeking to stop the genocide in Gaza."

The statements from Ansar Allah and the Yemeni Supreme Political Council underscore rising tensions in the region and the potential for broader implications following the recent military actions. (ILKHA)
