The event sought to shed light on the persecution in Palestine, with a specific focus on condemning the ongoing israeli genocide in Gaza.

The impassioned march, aptly titled "Saladin's Grandchildren are Walking for Gaza," kicked off at Gök Taxi in Çarşı Quarter and reverberated through the streets until reaching Gülistan Street.

Demonstrators, proudly waving Palestinian and Tawhid flags, energetically chanted slogans against the zionist regime, passionately voicing their unwavering support for Palestine. Accompanied by horsemen carrying Tawhid flags, the march symbolized a united front against oppression.

Amid the vibrant atmosphere on Gülistan Street, İshak Aksoy, the HUDA PAR Sason District Youth Wings Chairman, stepped forward to deliver a heartfelt press statement. With a mix of empathy and resolve, Aksoy said:

"Today, here in Batman, the youth stand united as Saladin's grandchildren, unequivocally condemning the heinous acts committed by the zionist forces in Gaza. Our hearts bleed for the innocent lives lost, and we cannot remain silent in the face of such brutality."

Aksoy went on to critique the international community, stating: "Nations with sense of humanity and conscience rise to condemn the Zionist genocide, yet states and governments turn a deaf ear to the pleas of their nations. It is high time for the world to take decisive action against these oppressors."

The march itself featured powerful expressions of solidarity with slogans such as "Down with Israel, down with America," and "Long live hell for the oppressors." The event also included the solemn opening of the Palestinian flag and a stirring Dabka dance, symbolizing the unwavering spirit of resistance within the Palestinian people.

“Let us not forget Gaza and the Zionist atrocities. The moment we forget Gaza and its children will be the moment Allah forgets us. We, the ummah of the Prophet Muhammad, shall not remain silent. We will stand against oppression and zionist brutality, pledging our unwavering support to our brothers and sisters in Gaza until victory. Our commitment echoes in every corner and every square,” Aksoy stated.

The press statement concluded with a fervent call to continue supporting Palestinian brothers and sisters, emphasizing that the Palestinian issue is a collective concern for the Ummah. The call resonated strongly, urging the preservation of consciousness about Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem for generations to come.

The demonstration, filled with passion and determination, serves as a poignant reminder of the ongoing struggle for justice in the region. (ILKHA)
