The meeting took place at Vahdettin Mansion, with discussions expected to further diplomatic ties between the two nations. Following this session, Secretary Blinken is anticipated to be received by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, marking a crucial aspect of his diplomatic engagements.

It's noteworthy that Blinken's previous visit to Türkiye on November 6 did not include a meeting with President Erdoğan. However, this time, his itinerary includes an audience with the Turkish President.

This marks Blinken's fourth regional tour since the escalation of israeli aggression in Gaza on October 7th, highlighting the ongoing diplomatic efforts on this critical issue. (ILKHA)
