This weekly demonstration, customarily held after Friday prayers, found its forum at the Diclekent Mosque in the central Kayapınar district.
Yahya Oğraş, HÜDA PAR Provincial Vice President, eloquently delivered a press statement on behalf of the Prophet Lovers Foundation, capturing the collective sentiments of those gathered in front of Diclekent Mosque.
Expressing profound condolences for recent tragic events, Oğraş mourned the assassination of Hamas Vice President Salih al-Aruri and the devastating bombing in Iran's Kerman city. In his heartfelt address, Oğraş stated: “Our hearts ache for the loss of innocent lives in Beirut and Kerman. We extend our deepest sympathies to the grieving families, praying for mercy to be bestowed upon the martyrs and a swift recovery for the wounded. It is in these trying times that we must display unwavering patience and support for those affected.”
In a broader historical context, Oğraş underscored the relentless violence initiated by the zionist occupation regime in 1948, tracing its roots to the infamous Al-Nakba or the 'great disaster' event. This historical atrocity, characterized by massacres, injuries, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, set the tone for a continuous cycle of systematic violence against civilians. Oğraş emphasized that this pattern, which started with the Aqsa Flood, persists in all Palestinian territories, with Gaza currently enduring its 91st day of relentless aggression.
The HÜDA PAR Provincial Vice President condemned the ongoing oppression, describing it as a well-supported atrocity by global powers, particularly the United States, Britain, and European countries. This unwavering support, despite global outcry, emboldens the occupation regime to escalate its aggression daily, further inflaming the entire region.
Oğraş passionately called on all members of the Islamic Ummah, with a special emphasis on Türkiye, to sever diplomatic, economic, and military ties with israel. He urged a collective stance in solidarity with the people of Yemen, who have valiantly supported their brothers and sisters in Gaza. In his impassioned plea, Oğraş stated: “It is high time for us, as members of the Islamic Ummah, to stand united against the injustice in Palestine. Let us cut the ties that bind us to oppressors and work together for a just and peaceful world.”
The call included a plea to halt the flow of oil to the zionist regime by cutting off the Baku-Ceyhan and Kirkuk-Yumurtalık pipelines. Additionally, he advocated for the termination of support from Turkish bases such as Incirlik and Kürecik.
The statement applauded Malaysia's decision to deny docking rights to trade ships of the zionist occupation regime and lauded the Republic of South Africa for its efforts to bring Israel to the International Criminal Court for the crimes committed in Palestinian territories.
Concluding the comprehensive message, Oğraş urged the identification and initiation of legal proceedings against citizens of Islamic countries supporting Zionism. He advocated for measures such as revocation of citizenship and asset confiscation for those participating in atrocities in occupied Palestine. In a resolute tone, Oğraş declared: “Let us take a stand against those who support oppression. We must not be complicit in the crimes committed against innocent lives in Palestine.” (ILKHA)
