In a statement, Kan'ani expressed deep concern, stating that the assassination underscores the criminal nature of the Israeli regime. He characterized the act as a manifestation of the zionist regime's desperation and a response to its substantial and irreversible defeat against Palestinian Resistance groups and the steadfast Palestinian nation during the Al-Aqsa Storm operation.

Extending heartfelt condolences to Hamas and the Palestinian nation, Kan'ani also condemned the violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity by the Israeli regime. He urged international institutions, especially the United Nations Security Council, to promptly and effectively respond to these terrorist acts perpetrated by the zionist regime.

The situation is likely to intensify diplomatic tensions in the region, with global attention turning to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian factions. (ILKHA)
