In a coordinated effort to combat the threat posed by ISIS, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya revealed that 189 individuals have been arrested in simultaneous operations carried out in 37 provinces. The operations, named Heroes-38, targeted suspected members of the organization.
Yerlikaya made the announcement through his social media account, detailing the distribution of arrests in various provinces. The nationwide crackdown saw arrests in provinces such as Istanbul, Ankara, Gaziantep, and others.
