According to Bolat, Turkiye's share of global exports reached 1.06% by the end of 2023, surpassing the previous record of 1.02% set at the end of 2022. This translates to a total export value of $253.3 billion for the first nine months (January-September) of 2023, as per data released by the World Trade Organization (WTO).

"We are thrilled to share this exceptional news with our people and our dedicated community of exporters," Bolat expressed. He further highlighted the consistent growth in exports throughout the year, even amidst various challenges. Notably, Turkiye witnessed a record-breaking export month in November 2023, with exports surging by 5.2% to reach $23 billion.

Bolat emphasized Turkiye's positive trajectory in the global trade landscape, attributing the success to the country's robust foreign trade strategies.

This achievement underscores Turkiye's increasing prominence as a key player in the global export market. (ILKHA)
