This occurrence follows the devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 that struck the same region more than ten months ago.

The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency reported that the aftershock occurred at 10:55 TSI, reaching a depth of 9.69 km. The earthquake's epicenter was located at 38.04111 degrees north latitude and 37.67 degrees east longitude.

Residents in the affected area reported feeling the tremors, but as of now, there are no immediate reports of damage or casualties. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and urging residents to stay vigilant.

This seismic activity raises concerns, considering the proximity in time to the previous major earthquake. Geologists and experts will likely assess the situation to determine any potential impact on the region's geological stability. (ILKHA)
