The statement vehemently rejects what it describes as "slander and unfounded allegations" by zionist officials.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry's press release asserts: "We absolutely reject the slander and unfounded allegations of some israeli officials. The efforts of some Israeli officials, who cannot even tolerate the truth and facts being expressed, to change the agenda with distortions and slander in the hope of covering up the brutal massacre targeting Palestinian civilians in Gaza will not yield results."

The ministry emphasizes that those accused of crimes against humanity are targeting prominent international figures, including the United Nations, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. These actions, according to the ministry, demonstrate their inability to accept criticism or condemnation.

Furthermore, the Turkish Foreign Ministry rejects the accusations of anti-Semitism and defends the country's record on this issue, stating: "It is known to everyone that Türkiye's track record on this issue is spotless - unlike many countries that support Israel unconditionally today."

The ministry underscores Türkiye's historical role as a safe haven for the oppressed, including Jews, and urges Israeli authorities to heed calls for a ceasefire and peace to end the ongoing conflict in Gaza. (ILKHA)
