In a tweet on X, he denounced the actions as "blind terrorism," emphasizing the severe violation of humanitarian and legal norms by the Israeli Zionist occupation.

El-Tayeb highlighted the grave situation in Gaza, citing intense bombardment, casualties, electricity and internet disruptions, and the destruction of essential infrastructure. He strongly criticized the blockade on information regarding the atrocities and war crimes being committed in the region.

Appealing to the global community, the Grand Imam urged for resolute condemnation of the israeli aggression and immediate measures to cease the violence. He cautioned that history would not be forgiving to those who turn their backs on the plight of innocent Palestinians or support the continuation of Zionist terrorism.

Expressing the duty of the Arab and Islamic world, along with people advocating for justice, to unite, El-Tayeb stressed the critical need for an urgent solution to protect the lives of Palestinians enduring an unprecedented massacre.

The ongoing attacks, reported to be the most severe since the aggression began 22 days ago, have relentlessly intensified since Friday evening. These assaults coincide with a complete cutoff of internet and communication between Gaza and the outside world. The situation remains dire as Gaza continues to face a humanitarian crisis amid the relentless bombardment. (ILKHA)
