Zionist forces kidnap 72 Palestinians in West Bank raids

Zionist forces have launched a large-scale arrest campaign in several areas of the occupied West Bank, detaining at least 72 Palestinians, including two women, on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

According to local sources, the zionist forces raided homes and neighborhoods in Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Salfit, Jenin, Tubas and Hebron districts, and arrested the Palestinians on various charges.

The sources said that 20 of the detainees were from Jerusalem, where the zionist forces stormed the neighborhoods of Silwan, Issawiya, al-Tur and Shuafat refugee camp.

The zionist forces also detained six Palestinians from Ramallah district, including a former prisoner who spent 15 years in israeli jails.

In Bethlehem district, the zionist forces arrested 11 Palestinians, mostly from al-Duheisha refugee camp and al-Khader town. They also confiscated a vehicle and money from one of the detainees.

Two Palestinians were arrested from Qalqilya district, one from Salfit district, three from Jenin district and three more from Tubas district.

The zionist forces also carried out a massive arrest campaign in Hebron district, where they detained 26 Palestinians from Hebron city and 19 from nearby towns of Beit Awwa and Beit Ummar. (ILKHA)
