In a statement, Hamas called upon Arab and Islamic nations, as well as the United Nations, to intensify their efforts to create a lasting humanitarian corridor and to reject what it referred to as the zionist occupation's "starvation policy."

Hamas pointed out that despite a limited amount of aid reaching the Gaza Strip in the past two days, it remains insufficient to address the growing needs of the population. The relentless aggression and blockade imposed by the zionist occupation have resulted in severe shortages of essential supplies, including fuel, medicine, and food.

The statement particularly highlighted the critical fuel shortage in all hospitals within the Gaza Strip, underlining the urgency of the situation.

Hamas urged Arab and Islamic nations, the United Nations, and all relevant stakeholders to recognize the humanitarian catastrophe stemming from the Israeli aggression. They called for immediate and intensified efforts to establish a humanitarian corridor for the delivery of fuel, food, medicine, and medical supplies into the region to prevent further loss of life.

The statement concluded by appealing to all involved parties to reject the policies of war and occupation pursued by the Israeli regime and to condemn what Hamas characterizes as crimes against humanity.

The call comes amidst growing international concerns over the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip and the severe humanitarian crisis it has precipitated. (ILKHA)
