Local first responders immediately arrived at the scene to commence rescue operations. Several of the victims are reported to be in serious condition, compounding the tragedy.

Governor Syniehubov strongly condemned the missile attack, characterizing it as an act of terror against the civilian population of the Kharkiv region. The strike targeted an exclusively civilian facility, further intensifying the gravity of the situation.

Earlier in the evening, Russian forces launched S-300 missiles at the city of Kharkiv, as reported by Governor Syniehubov. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the attack, noting that the city had come under assault.

Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, is situated approximately 30 kilometers south of the Russian border, making it prone to frequent Russian strikes that also affect the surrounding oblast. The recent missile attack has underscored the ongoing risks and dangers faced by residents in the region. (ILKHA)
