Ben Jamal, Director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, emphasized the collective desire for an end to the violence and the urgent need for a ceasefire, as well as the safe delivery of essential humanitarian supplies to the people of Gaza.

He underlined that lasting peace hinges on addressing the root cause, which he identified as Israel's decades-long military occupation.

Chanting "Free Palestine," protesters brandished banners and waved Palestinian flags as they traversed London, ultimately congregating at Downing Street, the official residence and office of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The demonstration served as a powerful call for an end to the ongoing israeli violence and the initiation of meaningful humanitarian assistance for the beleaguered people of Gaza. (ILKHA)
