The large-scale event aimed to express solidarity with the Palestinian resistance and condemn the attacks carried out by the occupation regime.

The rally drew significant participation, with attendees including prominent figures such as Temel Karamollaoğlu, Chairman of Felicity Party; Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, Chairman of HÜDA PAR; Ahmet Davutoğlu, Chairman of Future Party; and several other notable personalities, including diplomats and NGO representatives.

The rally commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a solemn tone for the event. Attendees, including those from neighboring provinces and districts, passionately shouted takbirs and chanted slogans in solidarity with the resistance. Artists also performed songs dedicated to Jerusalem and Palestine, adding a cultural dimension to the event.

Felicity Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Ömer Faruk Yazıcı extended his gratitude to everyone involved in organizing the rally and all those who participated. In his opening speech, he emphasized the significance of standing with the Palestinian people in their struggle against oppression.

"Today, we stand united to condemn the unjust acts committed against our Palestinian brothers and sisters. The world must hear our voices, and we will not remain silent in the face of such oppression," declared Yazıcı.

Kamal Aboun

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Kamal Aboun, Secretary General of the Gaza Government, provided historical context to the Palestinian struggle, highlighting the challenges faced since the fall of the Ottoman Empire. He underscored the current threat to Al-Aqsa Mosque and emphasized the necessity of resistance as the only option for Palestinians.

"This rally is not just a gathering; it's a powerful message to the world. We will resist, and we will reclaim our rights," Aboun passionately asserted.

Faed Mustafa

Palestinian Ambassador to Ankara Faed Mustafa expressed the dire situation faced by Palestinians, emphasizing that Israel targets not only people but also houses, mosques, and hospitals. Mustafa decried the occupation's disregard for international law and the complicity of certain Western powers.

"In 2023, we face a serious persecution. The oppressed do not need any power to present their justification. What we have experienced so far is our justification," Mustafa asserted.

As the crowd listened attentively, Mustafa continued, "Today, we see the faces of those who support Palestinians and the faces of traitors. The truth is, we do not need to justify ourselves to anyone. The world sees the genocide and murders that have been going on for a century."

The rally served as a platform for participants to voice their support for the Palestinian cause and condemn the ongoing atrocities committed against the Palestinian people.

The speakers urged the international community to take a stand against the injustice faced by Palestinians and to work towards a just and lasting solution.

The passionate crowd echoed slogans calling for justice and an end to the occupation. Many expressed their determination to continue supporting the Palestinian cause until the rights of the Palestinian people are fully recognized. (ILKHA)
