The government media office in Gaza confirmed that a new massacre was carried out by the zionist regime against three convoys in Salah al-Din and al-Rashid Streets at three different times as they attempted to reach the southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The office emphasized that the initial death toll from the massacre was 70, with the majority of the victims being women and children, and more than 200 injuries.
The government office also stressed that this latest crime, which resulted in the death of kids, women, and elderly, some of whom had been beheaded, confirms that the occupier does not respect international covenants.
Earlier today, the government media office denied reports that Israel had informed the UN that more than 1 million trapped Palestinians living in the north of the besieged enclave should move south within 24 hours ahead of an expected ground offensive.
The office stressed that there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip and that all governorates, whether in the north or south of the Gaza Strip, are targeted by israeli warplanes. (ILKHA)
