Türkiye’s retail sales volume rises by 17.2% on annual basis

In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 15.3%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 24.2%, automotive fuel sales decreased by 1.0%.

Retail sales volume decreased by 4.7% on monthly basis

Retail sales volume with constant prices (2015=100) decreased by 4.7%August 2023 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 0.1%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales decreased by 5.6%, automotive fuel sales decreased by 9.0%.

Retail turnover increased by 87.5% on annual basis

Retail turnover with current prices (2015=100) increased by 87.5% in August 2023 compared with the same month of previous year. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 89.9%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 98.1%, automotive fuel sales increased by 58.5%.

Retail turnover increased by 4.5% on monthly basis

Retail turnover with current prices (2015=100) increased by 4.5% in August 2023 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 7.0%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 1.2%, automotive fuel sales increased by 13.0%. (ILKHA)
