Speaking at the Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) 4th extraordinary congress in Ankara, Erdogan emphasized Turkey's continued opposition to any threat against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

During his address, Erdogan declared Türkiye's unwavering stance against attempts or occupations that undermine the historical and religious significance of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing it as the first qibla.

The statements followed a barrage of rockets launched by Palestinian factions in Gaza towards zionist targets, resulting in zionist regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declaring the nation to be "at war."

According to Hebrew media, at least 20 israelis have been killed, and over 540 others have been injured in the rocket attacks.

President Erdogan underscored Türkiye's commitment to diplomatic solutions, expressing the country's dedication to resolving regional issues through dialogue.

He emphasized the imperative of protecting justice and adhering to international law as the means to halt bloodshed in the region. (ILKHA)
