The report indicates 7 deaths attributed to the disease during the same period, with an infection rate of 19 per thousand.

Yemen, plagued by a nearly 9-year civil war, is grappling with a deepening humanitarian crisis, exacerbated by factors such as a lack of access to clean water, malnutrition, and shortages of medicine and medical supplies.

The United Nations estimates that out of Yemen's 30 million population, over 22 million require assistance and protection.
