During his visit to Yarımkaş (Kanipankê) and Alabaş (Exliya) neighborhoods, Yapıcıoğlu met with local mukhtars and residents. He received a warm welcome and took the opportunity to listen to the concerns and issues raised by the citizens. Additionally, he outlined his party's initiatives to address these challenges.
Yapıcıoğlu highlighted economic problems and the need for housing as pressing issues. He stressed the importance of ensuring that no one goes hungry or remains vulnerable. Referring to Islamic scholars' fatwas, he emphasized that preventing hunger is paramount, and nobody should suffer due to lack of shelter.
He stated: "Housing is one of the essential needs. These houses do not necessarily have to be luxurious; people should have roofs over their heads. The state and the government must play a role in this. There is ample government-owned land that can be allocated to contractors, enabling those without homes to access affordable housing through low prices and installments."
Yapıcıoğlu expressed confidence in quickly resolving the housing shortage if provided with the necessary authority. He suggested that utilizing treasury lands for such projects, managed by contractors according to their capacities, would yield rapid results. He emphasized the need for strong political will to address this issue effectively.
Regarding the education system, Yapıcıoğlu pointed out shortcomings and the need for moral education. He questioned what children are taught in terms of morality and being good individuals. He underscored the importance of instilling values and ethics alongside academic education, highlighting that the current system may lead to negative outcomes.
Yapıcıoğlu also paid his respects at the graves of martyrs who were tragically killed by PKK militants on March 10, 1994, in Yıllarca (Gogwêrin) village. He honored the sacrifices made by these individuals, including 12-year-olds Muhammad Halil and Muhammad Emin, who lost their lives on that fateful day.
The visit concluded with Yapıcıoğlu taking commemorative photos with the martyrs' relatives and local residents.
