Number of paid employees in Türkiye rises by 4.4% annually

Number of paid employees including industry, construction, trade-services sectors increased by 4.4% in July 2023 compared with the same month of the previous year.

While the number of paid employees was 14 million 531 thousand 227 in the same month of the previous year, it became 15 million 166 thousand 88 in July 2023.

When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector increased by 1.3%, in construction sector increased by 14.7% and in trade-services sector increased by 4.4% annually.

Number of paid employees increased by 1.0% monthly

Number of paid employees including industry, construction, trade-services sectors increased by 1.0% in July 2023 compared with the previous month.

When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector increased by 0.8%, in construction sector increased by 3.3% and in trade-services sector increased by 0.6% monthly. (ILKHA)
