The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry handed Ambassador Bellusci a note of protest, firmly denouncing President Fernandez's remarks. According to Azerbaijan, these statements were deemed detrimental to the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

They asserted that President Fernandez's comments were based on distorted information stemming from Armenia's campaign against Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan expressed regret over President Fernandez's use of terminology that appeared to question Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity. They argued that these remarks were unwarranted and not grounded in facts.

One of the key issues raised during the meeting was the recent tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan claimed that it had proposed alternative routes, including the Aghdam-Khankendi road, to address the needs of Armenian residents, particularly regarding the delivery of food supplies.

However, they stated that the Armenian side had rejected these proposals and declined to accept the delivered food. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry interpreted this as evidence that the situation was more political than humanitarian, contrary to Armenia's claims.

In light of these developments, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry took the opportunity to call upon Argentina to refrain from making any statements that might undermine Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty. (ILKHA)
