“Our search and rescue teams successfully rescued six citizens, but sadly, the lifeless bodies of two individuals were recovered. Intensive search and rescue efforts are ongoing to locate the four missing individuals,” AFAD said.
In addition to Kırklareli, AFAD teams from Ankara, Bursa, İstanbul, Sakarya, and Tekirdağ provinces are also involved in the search and rescue efforts.
AFAD also urged citizens to be careful against adverse events such as flash floods, flooding, lightning, storms, flying roofs, and disruptions in transportation.
