During the meeting, they discussed various topics, including women's right to education and the developments taking place in Afghanistan.

In a statement released by the Interior Ministry, Acting Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani expressed his gratitude to the OIC delegation for their positive contributions to Afghanistan and emphasized the country's ongoing progress.

“Girls' education is a common need in our society, and this issue will be addressed once the necessary conditions are prepared,” stated the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, highlighting the importance of education as a shared requirement among Muslims.

The OIC delegation acknowledged the significant achievements of the Islamic Emirate in various fields over the past two years. They commended the effective monetary policies, successful efforts in combating criminal and ISIS activities, and the prohibition of drug cultivation and trafficking, all of which have contributed to nationwide security.

The delegation also emphasized that the Islamic Emirate has fulfilled its obligations to the OIC. They praised the decrees issued by the Islamic Emirate regarding women's rights, particularly in relation to baad marriages (exchange marriages) and women's inheritance rights.

The primary objective of the delegation's visit to Afghanistan was to strengthen cooperation and foster brotherhood among Islamic countries. They stressed that education is a fundamental right for both men and women and highlighted the role of modern science in advancing nations.

As Afghanistan continues its path of progress, discussions and engagements such as this meeting with the OIC delegation signify steps toward addressing critical issues like women's education and promoting cooperation within the Islamic world. (ILKHA)
