Afghan Interior Minister Haqqani warns Pakistan against forceful resolution of internal issues

The acting Minister of Interior of Afghanistan, Sirajuddin Haqqani, has stated that the recent incidents occurring in Pakistan stem from its internal issues, which Islamabad must address on its own.

He cautioned that any attempt by Pakistan to resolve its problems forcefully via Afghanistan would have adverse effects on the citizens of both nations.

Haqqani remarked: “Should they opt for a forceful resolution; the interconnected interests of Afghanistan and Pakistan will undoubtedly suffer."

While addressing a gathering in Uruzgan, where he arrived on Sunday, Haqqani criticized the international community for failing to uphold their commitments to "humanity."

He highlighted that the Islamic Emirate has managed to tackle its challenges despite lacking international recognition.

"We continue to convey to the world that we do not intend to intimidate you, nor do we seek confrontation. Nevertheless, we are grateful that neither atomic bombs nor B-52s could weaken my faith. May this unwavering faith of mine remain unshaken," he remarked. (ILKHA)
