Turkish Foreign Minister to visit Baghdad, Erbil for diplomatic talks

Fidan will meet with top officials from both the Iraqi federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

In Baghdad, Fidan is scheduled to meet with Iraq's Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, as well as Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein. He is also expected to meet with other key political figures.

On Thursday, Fidan will travel to Erbil, where he will meet with Masoud Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region.

The visits are seen as an important step in strengthening relations between Türkiye and Iraq.

The visits are also seen as an opportunity to discuss ways to improve cooperation on issues such as security, trade, and energy. (ILKHA)
