The visit was confirmed by a statement from Türkiye's Communications Directorate, which said that Erdogan would meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to discuss bilateral relations and regional and global issues.
Erdogan is also expected to meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who will be attending the founding day celebrations.
Türkiye and Hungary have had a strategic partnership since 2013, and their relations have grown significantly in recent years. The two countries cooperate in a number of areas, including trade, investment, defense, and culture.
