The commemoration event was organized by the Çınar Representative Office of the Prophet Lover’s Foundation at the cemetery in the Çınar district of Diyarbakır.
The program commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Mehmet Emin Yılmaz, setting a reverent tone for the proceedings.
Following the recitation of Yasin-i Sharif, Vedat Turgut, the Diyarbakır Provincial Chairman of HÜDA PAR, took the podium. Turgut, a close friend of Güler, spoke passionately about Güler's unwavering dedication to Islam, highlighting his sacrifices and hardships endured for the cause. He emphasized the role of the Islamic struggle in Güler's life and its significance in shaping his identity.
Quoting the verse of Holy Ouran “I created mankind and the jinn only to worship me,” Turgut articulated: “This verse underscores that human creation is rooted in servitude, worship, guidance, and being a beacon for others, just as Fesih Güler exemplified. We stand at the intersection of two worlds, the physical and the spiritual.”
Turgut continued, shedding light on the enduring impact of Güler's endeavors, remarking: “The seeds sown by Fesih Güler and his associates have blossomed not only locally but across the Islamic world. Their efforts have fostered a moderate ummah, united for the betterment of society, the unity of the ummah, and its future.”
Highlighting Güler's profound influence, Turgut further shared: “Through the efforts of Fesih Güler and his companions, tens of thousands have embraced Islam, and countless individuals have dedicated their lives to seeking Allah's pleasure.”
Turgut emphasized the significance of genuine worship and sacrifice, echoing the words of Master Bediuzzaman. He underscored Güler's role in inspiring others to embrace a selfless ethos, stating: “Fesih Güler has set an example and guided thousands with his commitment to the motto 'fena-fil ikhvan, fena-fillah, and fena-fil congregation'—a philosophy of sacrifice for brethren and the cause.”
Drawing attention to the growing Islamic movement catalyzed by Güler's dedication, Turgut stated: “In an era marked by division in the Islamic world and cultural, economic, and social misinformation, Fesih Güler's community stands as a beacon of hope.”
Directing his message to the youth influenced by Güler, Turgut passionately asserted: “We bear a great responsibility, our mission is substantial, time is fleeting, and our tasks are many. Let us, like Fesih Güler, become champions of this cause—imbued with the teachings of the Qur'an, Sunnah, and Islam. Starting with our families and communities, let us unveil the truths, justice, and path to salvation.”
Turgut paid homage to Güler's sacrifices, categorizing him as a martyr of both this world and the hereafter, affirming: “Fesih Güler's ultimate sacrifice, enduring torture and giving his life, embodies the essence of martyrdom. His legacy will undoubtedly endure.”
The commemoration event concluded with a heartfelt prayer, honoring Güler's memory and the indelible mark he left on the world.
