Under heavy protection from Israeli police, a group of extremist Israeli settlers forcibly entered the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem.
The incursion, carried out in separate groups, saw the settlers enter through the al-Maghariba gate and proceed to conduct provocative tours within the sacred Islamic site.
Adding to the heightened tensions, the settlers performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the Mosque, further escalating the sensitive situation.
Meanwhile, the zionist forces have increased their scrutiny of Palestinians attempting to access the al-Aqsa Mosque from Jerusalem. Palestinians' IDs are being thoroughly inspected, and some individuals have been briefly detained as part of the intensified security measures. (ILKHA)
