The shooting took place on the "Jaipur Express" train while it was en route from Jaipur to Mumbai. The incident occurred shortly after the train crossed Palghar railway station, around 60 miles from Mumbai.

The perpetrator of the shooting, who has not been identified, reportedly attempted to flee by jumping off the train near Dahisar Station. However, law enforcement managed to apprehend him later, along with the automatic weapon supposedly used in the shootout.

The motive for the shooting is still unclear. However, police are investigating whether the perpetrator was suffering from mental health issues or if there was a more sinister motive. (ILKHA)
