The two sides discussed the need for close collaboration in tackling the issue of illegal migration. Kharouti expressed his reservations about solely relying on deportations as a long-term solution, as it could lead to a continuous cycle of illegal migration attempts.

He proposed exploring plans that would enable Afghans traveling to Türkiye to work legally in the country. This approach, he believed, could substantially reduce the motivation for illegal migration.

The Turkish ambassador appreciated Kharouti's concerns and pledged to facilitate a visit from the Islamic Emirate's administrative delegation to Türkiye in the near future.

During this visit, they would thoroughly discuss the migration issue with Turkish authorities and explore collaborative measures to tackle the problem effectively. (ILKHA)
