Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said on Friday that the report's assertion of a connection between the Islamic Emirate and Al-Qaeda is false. He emphasized that Al-Qaeda has no presence in Afghanistan and that the reports of their collaboration are unfounded.

The UN Security Council's 23-page report, released on July 25, alleged that Al-Qaeda is clandestinely operating under the supervision of the Taliban and is actively recruiting new fighters. The report specifically pointed to the establishment of training centers in the provinces of Kunar and Nuristan in Afghanistan. (ILKHA)
