The Palestinian health ministry identified the victim as teenager Faris Abu Samra, saying that he had been shot and seriously injured in the head before being pronounced dead in Qalqilya hospital.
The shooting occurred in the city of Qalqilya, as ZOF stormed a local neighborhood overnight amid heavy fire of rubber and live bullets, resulting in clashes.
Earlier on Wednesday, a journalist was injured while covering the clashes that erupted in the Al-Tira neighborhood in Ramallah.
The clashes broke out after a group of settlers stormed the neighborhood under military protection.
