Turkish Defense Minister holds bilateral meetings with international counterparts at IDEF-2023

Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler engaged in a series of significant meetings with defense counterparts from various countries during the International Defense Industry Fair IDEF-2023 held at the TÜYAP venue in Istanbul.

Minister Güler's meetings included discussions with Defense Ministers from North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tanzania, Yemen, and the Republic of Congo, along with the Chief of General Staff of Libya, General Muhammad Ali El-Haddad.

The second day of the defense fair witnessed Minister Güler's productive exchanges with high-ranking officials. Notably, he met with Yemeni Defense Minister Major General Mohsen Muhammed Al Daeri, Congolese Defense Minister Charles Richard Mondjo, and Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammad Ali El-Haddad.

Additionally, Minister Güler held important bilateral talks with North Macedonian Defense Minister Slavjanka Petrovska, Bosnian and Herzegovinian Defense Minister Zukan Helez, and Tanzanian Defense and National Service Minister Innocent Lugha Bashungwa.

The meetings focused on strengthening defense ties, exploring cooperation opportunities, and addressing mutual security concerns. Such engagements underscore Turkey's commitment to fostering international partnerships and advancing the global defense industry landscape.
