Magnitude 4.0 aftershock strikes Elbistan, Türkiye

A magnitude 4.0 aftershock struck the Elbistan district of Türkiye's southern Kahramanmaraş province on Sunday, more than five months after a devastating magnitude 7.8 earthquake shook the region.

The earthquake occurred around 13:48 TSI with its epicenter located at a latitude of 38.19 degrees north and a longitude of 37.277 degrees east. The quake's depth was measured at 8.76 km, as announced by Türkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency on its official website. (ILKHA)
