Turkish Foreign Ministry expresses condolences over Algeria traffic accident

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has expressed its condolences over a traffic accident in Tamanrasset, Algeria, that killed and injured many people.

The ministry said in a press release that it was saddened to learn of the accident, which took place on July 19.

The ministry offered its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

The ministry also extended its condolences to the government and people of Algeria.

On Wednesday, at least 34 people were killed and 12 others were seriously injured when a passenger bus collided with a commercial vehicle and burst into flames in Algeria.

According to local sources, the accident took place near Tamanrasset, a city about a 2,000-kilometer (1,250 miles) drive south of the capital Algiers. (ILKHA)
