As the upcoming Eid al-Adha approaches, the organization, renowned for its commitment to supporting disadvantaged communities at home and abroad, delivered essential aid to impoverished households in Ethiopia's Oromia region, including orphans and individuals with disabilities.

Through the generous contributions of dedicated donors, IHO EBRAR was able to make a tangible impact on the lives of those in need. Their charitable endeavor aimed to bring joy and relief to the less fortunate, even if only for a brief period before the festive occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Salih Basatoğrul, a devoted volunteer of IHO EBRAR, shared his thoughts on the organization's mission and the significance of their work in Ethiopia. With deep conviction, he emphasized their commitment to making a positive difference, stating: "We are trying to bring a moment of happiness to impoverished families, even if it is just for a brief period before Eid al-Adha."

Basatoğrul acknowledged the challenges they face in meeting the overwhelming need, emphasizing: "No matter how much we distribute, it's not enough."

As volunteers representing IHO EBRAR, they traveled from the United Kingdom to Ethiopia, distributing the zakat and charity donations provided by benefactors. Despite their best efforts, Basatoğrul emphasized the continued need for increased assistance to support oppressed and needy individuals, urging benefactors not to abandon them.

Thanks to the unwavering support of compassionate benefactors, IHO EBRAR successfully provided cash assistance amounting to $20 per family, benefiting a total of 385 households in Ethiopia.

“We gave it as pocket money for the holiday. This money does not solve everything,” Baştoğrul said.

The commitment of IHO EBRAR to improving the lives of those enduring impoverished conditions was evident in their actions leading up to Eid al-Adha in Ethiopia. Their dedication to providing essential assistance and fostering a sense of solidarity among communities in need serves as a testament to the transformative power of collective generosity and unwavering humanitarian values.
