Ukraine receives bodies of 51 fallen soldiers from Russian-controlled regions

Ukraine's Commissioner for Missing Persons, Oleh Kotenko, announced on Friday that the country has successfully received the remains of 51 deceased soldiers from territories under Russian control.

This repatriation effort was made possible through the collaborative efforts of various government agencies, including the Security Service of Ukraine and the Central Security Service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Kotenko underscored the adherence to international protocols, particularly highlighting that the repatriation process aligns with the guidelines established in the Geneva Convention.
