The meeting centered around the Palestinian struggle and recent developments, including the events in Jenin and the resolute actions of Palestinian youth against Israeli forces.

During the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the Palestinian struggle has entered a new phase, highlighting the significance of recent events as a testament to the unwavering determination of the Palestinian people. He expressed optimism about the future of Palestinian resistance.

Addressing the gathering, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution underscored the centrality of the Palestinian issue within the Islamic world and the broader Muslim community. He noted that progress in the Palestinian cause would have a positive ripple effect on other matters affecting the Islamic Ummah.

Ayatollah Khamenei praised the youth for spearheading the fight against the Zionist regime, noting that their involvement has transformed the Palestinian issue. Despite the pressures exerted, he acknowledged the international media's growing support for the Palestinian cause.

Referring to this year's Quds Day rallies, the Leader highlighted their global reach, as even European countries witnessed demonstrations where people expressed their opposition to the Zionist regime.

Emphasizing that the Islamic Republic's support for Palestine stems from religious faith and beliefs, Ayatollah Khamenei traced the roots of this support to the early days of the Islamic Movement under the guidance of Imam Khomeini. He reiterated that the Islamic Republic's backing is grounded in Islamic jurisprudence and principles, rather than mere tactical or diplomatic considerations.

Asserting that the land of Palestine belongs to all Muslims, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution called upon all Muslims to fulfill their responsibilities in liberating Palestine.

In response, Ismail Haniyeh highlighted the ongoing significant battle taking place in the West Bank. He stressed that the ascendancy of young Palestinian fighters in the region has left the Zionist regime with limited options, forcing them to choose between unfavorable alternatives.

The senior Hamas official emphasized the formation of self-esteemed armed resistance and the embrace of struggle and jihad by the younger generation in the West Bank as pivotal developments in Occupied Palestine. He commended the unprecedented conditions and progress made by the resistance front in the history of the occupation.

Haniyeh concluded by affirming that the resistance groups will never retreat from an inch of Palestinian territory. He expressed unwavering commitment to the approach of struggle and jihad, and conveyed hope and certainty that with divine assistance and the determination of Palestinian youth, the liberation of Quds (Jerusalem) will be achieved in the near future.

The meeting between the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Ismail Haniyeh highlights the enduring support of the Islamic Republic for the Palestinian cause, as well as the determination and resilience of the Palestinian people in their quest for liberation. (ILKHA)
