The announcement was made during the Ukraine Recovery conference held in London. Blinken outlined the aid package, which includes $520 million designated for the renovation of Ukraine's energy grid.

Additionally, the US will allocate $657 million to modernize crucial infrastructure such as border crossings, railways, and ports, enhancing connectivity between Ukraine and Europe.

In an effort to promote efficiency and combat corruption, $100 million will be dedicated to the digitization of Ukraine's customs and other systems. Furthermore, $35 million will be directed towards supporting Ukrainian businesses and entrepreneurs, bolstering economic growth and innovation.

The Pentagon has reported that since the inception of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, the United States has already provided Ukraine with nearly $40 billion in military aid alone.

This latest commitment underscores the unwavering dedication of the United States to Ukraine's development and its determination to address the various challenges facing the nation. (ILKHA)
