The Emirate condemned what it perceives as a widespread campaign aimed at tarnishing its image.
Zabiullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, took to Twitter to express the government's stance.
He stated: “There is a wide propaganda campaign against the Islamic Emirate from the United Nations and certain Western countries.”
Mujahid went on to specifically criticize Richard Bennett's report, asserting that it lacks factual accuracy and is part of the ongoing propaganda against them.
Mujahid further emphasized that Islamic laws are being implemented in Afghanistan, and any objections to these laws are seen as acts of lawlessness against Islam.
The statement from the Islamic Emirate's spokesperson came in response to Richard Bennett's report, which highlighted concerns over the situation of women and girls in Afghanistan. Bennett's report raised alarms about the current circumstances faced by women and girls under the Islamic Emirate's rule. (ILKHA)
