The warrants are based on allegations that these individuals, who were members of the police force, leaked the questions of the transition exam from police officer to deputy commissioner in 2008 to FETÖ members prior to the exam.

The operation, carried out simultaneously in 12 provinces across Ankara, signifies a major step in combating the activities of the organization.

FETÖ has been classified as a terrorist organization by the Turkish government since May 2016, operating under the names Fethullahist Terrorist Organization and Parallel State Structure.

In the aftermath of the failed coup attempt in 2016, Turkish authorities have consistently accused FETÖ of orchestrating the coup and have subsequently arrested numerous individuals with alleged connections to the organization, including thousands of soldiers and judges.

The Ankara Police Department's Organized Crime Unit is currently engaged in efforts to apprehend the 14 suspects.

As the investigation progresses, authorities remain committed to combating the influence and activities of FETÖ within the country. (ILKHA)
