Turkish Economic Coordination Council to gather in Ankara to discuss economic outlook

Türkiye's Economic Coordination Council, led by Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz, is set to hold a meeting to address key economic issues on Thursday.

High-ranking officials attending the meeting include Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, and the Head of Strategy and Budget İbrahim Şenel.

Additionally, Central Bank Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan, although not a council member, has been invited to join the gathering, scheduled to take place at the Presidential Complex at 10:00 am.

The primary focus of the meeting will be to assess the overall economic outlook for Türkiye, discussing expectations, strategies for combating inflation, as well as analyzing the country's export and import activities. Furthermore, the roadmap for relevant institutions will be evaluated to ensure effective economic management.
